Weaving Our Motherhood Stories

Does this sound familiar, Mama?

  • Motherhood has you feeling lost, confused, or at your wits-end, and you want to begin finding your way back to yourself, but you don’t know where to start.

  • You long for time, space, and downtime to nourish your body, heart, and mind (but scrolling social media isn’t doing it for you).

  • As you make your way through postpartum, raising teens, divorce, empty nesting and other life transitions, you could use more support, but you don’t know what you need or what to look for.

  • Community in motherhood is something you deeply desire, but you don’t know where to find your people, the ones who will nourish and nurture you.

Mothers need each other; you don’t have to do it alone.

Description:

Art is the language of human expression. It is through art that we can share our stories of motherhood and humanness; the stories of our joy and suffering, our abundance and grief, our connectedness and loneliness. As we grow, and learn, and deepen into our creative process and nurturing community, we get to feel seen, held and empowered in our motherhood, womanhood and livelihood.

Weaving our Motherhood Stories is an expressive workshop series for moms led by mom of two, licensed therapist, and art therapist, Leanne Morton. This workshop provides an opportunity for storytelling through artistic expression, honoring your motherhood experiences, and connecting through heart-centered community. No art experience is necessary for participation, just a curiosity to connect with your creativity and other moms.
